Quick Assistant

Quick Assistant is a convenient tool provided by Cherry Studio that allows you to quickly access AI features in any application, enabling instant asking, translation, summarization, and explanations.

Enable Quick Assistant

1. Open Settings: Navigate to Settings -> Shortcuts -> Quick Assistant.

2. Enable switch: Find and open Quick Assistant the corresponding button.

1. Set shortcut key (optional):

   • Windows default shortcut is Ctrl + E.

   • macOS default shortcut is ⌘ + E.

   • You can customize the shortcut here to avoid conflicts or make it more in line with your usage habits.

Using Quick Assistant

1. Invoke: In any application, press the shortcut you set (or the default shortcut) to open Quick Assistant.

2. Interact: In the Quick Assistant window, you can directly perform the following actions:

   • Quick questions: Ask the AI any question.

   • Text translation: Enter the text that needs to be translated.

   • Content summarization: Enter long text to summarize.

   • Explanations: Enter concepts or terms that need explanation.

3. Close: Press ESC key or click anywhere outside the Quick Assistant window to close it.

The model used by Quick Assistant is the global default conversation model.

Tips and tricks

• Shortcut conflicts: If the default shortcut conflicts with other applications, please change the shortcut.

• Explore more features: In addition to the functions mentioned in the document, Quick Assistant may also support other operations, such as code generation, style transformation, etc. It is recommended that you continue to explore while using it.
